Lollo & Bernie - I Solens land
Client: Ving, Bookmark
Location: Stockholm
In this exciting project, I was entrusted with reimagining the beloved characters Lollo and Bernie to fit a brand-new children’s book series. Starting with their existing designs, my role was to develop a refreshed visual style that would not only appeal to today’s children aged 3-6, but also seamlessly fit into a new story universe filled with adventure, humor, and warmth.
The project covered a full-color picture book, a board book, and an interactive activity pack, all set in the vibrant and imaginative world of Solens land.
Through playful illustrations and expressive character work, I helped bring Lollo and Bernie’s new world to life — a world where friendship, curiosity, and discovery are at the heart of every adventure.

Variphy - 2D Art
Client: Variphy
Location: Silicon Valley
In this dynamic project for Variphy, my role involved working with both existing brand characters and developing new mascots to expand and enrich Variphy’s visual identity. Through a series of engaging 2D art pieces, I brought these characters to life in a variety of contexts and environments, each designed to reflect the diverse and vibrant nature of the Variphy brand.
The goal was to ensure that all characters, whether newly created or long-standing, felt cohesive and true to Variphy’s personality, while also creating opportunities for deeper connection and engagement with the brand’s audience.

Astra & Milo Discover Space
Personal project
Location: Stockholm
Astra & Milo Discover Space is a children’s book that introduces young readers to basic concepts in space physics and astronomy in a playful, safe, and engaging way. Through a story-driven approach that blends facts with humor and interactive activities, children get to explore phenomena such as gravity, galaxies, and black holes.
The story follows Astra, a curious rabbit, and her friend Milo, a mischievous red panda, on an adventurous journey through space. The book is designed to spark children’s natural curiosity while creating an emotional connection to both the characters and the scientific content, where learning happens through joy, recognition, and participation.
This first title serves as a foundation for introducing children to other areas of science in future books — such as evolution, geology, and biology — making complex topics accessible and engaging at an early age.

In this special project, I had the honor of working with Lilla spöket Laban, one of Sweden’s most beloved children’s book characters. My role focused on creating and designing new covers for upcoming titles, including a picture book, a board book, and a lift-the-flap board book.
In addition to cover design, I contributed by making modifications inside the books and adding objects and elements where needed to align with the manuscript and support the storytelling.

My focus in designing Backster was to create a character that feels warm, approachable, and supportive—someone that employees wouldn’t hesitate to engage with. Through thoughtful character design, expressive features, and a welcoming presence, I aimed to build trust and familiarity, making interactions with an AI-driven assistant feel both human and reassuring.

Variphy - Character development
Client: Variphy
Location: Silicon Valley
In this character development project for Variphy, I worked with both existing brand characters and newly created ones. My role was to refine and evolve the original characters to bring greater clarity to their purpose and identity in relation to the Variphy brand.
Alongside this, I designed new characters with specific roles within the brand identity, ensuring that each felt purposeful while seamlessly fitting into the broader visual family. Through this process, the character universe became more cohesive, expressive, and aligned with Variphy’s voice and values.
